Yakuza devs revealed Stranger Than Heaven, which is not inferior to the famous series in any respect
The creators of the Yakuza series have unveiled their new game, previously known as Project Century. The actual title is Stranger Than Haven.

Fans of Japanese games probably don't need an introduction to Ryou Ga Gotou studio, responsible for creating the popular it was revealed that the developer is working on a new project codenamed Project Century.
Now, during the Summer Game Fest 2025 show, the publisher, SEGA, presented new material from the game and shared its final title - Stranger Than Heaven. You can watch the trailer below.
This will be a TPP action adventure game - something we know well from the Yakuza series. It will be set in Japan in 1915.The game should have a complex and brutal hand-to-hand combat system, allowing players to use not only their fists but also various weapons.
Besides Stranger Than Haven, Ryou Ga Gotou is also working on a new installment of the Virtua Fighter series. However, not much is known about it at the moment.
