Fortunately, it is possible to open a local map showing all that is necessary, and here you will learn how to do that.

How to use local map in TES Oblivion Remastered

While main branch of Bethesda The Elder Scrolls VI, Virtous, a game studio with HQ in Singapore, has reshaped the original TES Oblivion to give us a remaster worthy of competing with modern titles. The developers have decided to leave the production mostly true to the original with everything good and bad. Some mechanics can confuse new players, though. For example, to help us navigate Cyrodill, the in-game map has 2 stages – global and local. How to switch between them?

It is rather intuitive as to modern game standards, as all there is to do is to scroll down (zoom in) the map to the point where it changes its mode to local. You can see that in the scrollbar that’s located on the right side of the map menu, where its closest zoom level is marked by dots, indicating the local mode, while the line shows the global stage of the zoom.
