Valve Remains Silent on Black Lives Matter; Devs Withdraw Games From Steam
Statements from developers began to appear on the web, as some of them decided to remove their games from Steam. Will Valve suffer from its silence?

Due to the situation in the USA caused by the death of George Floyd, many companies decided to show their for the Black Lives Matter movement. All this time, however, Valve remained silent, so some indie game developers whose games are available on the platform decided to withdraw them.
According to VG24/7, one of the afoementioned developers is Julian Glander - creator of such titles as Art Sqool and Lovely Weather We're Having. He sent Steam a message asking the company to remove his titles:
More people ed Glander. Gabriel Koenig, who decided that he also wanted to pull his title from Steam (Test Tube Titans), and Dan Sanderson, who decided to withdraw his First Winter. Koenig calls on Twitter for other developers to do the same.
The withdrawn games were niche productions, but the reaction of the competition may hurt Steam. Valve is one of the few companies that hasn't yet made a statement on the controversial issue. Will the "revolt of the developers" have any effect? All we can do is watch the situation.
UPDATE:
In response to Glander's tweet, it was announced that Valve intends to become a major sponsor of Game Devs of Color Expo, as well as the Black Voices in Gaming event, hosted by Justin Woodward.
Game Industry managed to Valve, which confirmed the information published in the tweet with the words "Shawn's tweet is accurate".
