Warner Bros. to make Unreal Engine 4 AAA RPG rooted in British culture
A job listing found on Warner Bros. Games' website reveals that the company is working on an Unreal Engine 4 AAA RPG rooted in British culture. Any ideas what that may be?
Warner Bros. Games is hiring for an Unreal Engine 4 AAA game, most likely an RPG, deeply rooted in British culture, as noticed by Reddit s. One of the jobs is a Senior Game Writer “with a deep understanding of British culture” who is to “provide British authenticity to the tone of the project”. It’s hard to say whether this is going to be an original IP or an adaptation of an existing brand. Some fans speculate that this could be a Harry Potter or a Doctor Who game, but really, but these guesses are as good as any.

The studio co-working on the project is Avalanche Software (not to be confused with Toy Story 3: The Video Game. However, the first game they are going to produce under Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment since the studio’s acquisition by that company in 2016 is a companion game for the Cars 3 movie, coming out this June. After that, Avalanche Software will likely move on to work on the aforementioned AAA UE4 project.
