Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is one of the more technically demanding games, including the extensive Phantom Liberty expansion. Its release on Nintendo Switch 2 is a huge surprise and a testament to the ambition of both CD Projekt RED and the Japanese giant itself. Porting such a complex title to a platform like the Switch 2, however, wasn't an "enormous effort," as the studio itted.
The video below shows Cyberpunk 2077 on the Nintendo Switch 2 in docked mode, running on a 4K TV. The gameplay recording was made using an external capture card, which captured the image in Full HD quality. The selected graphic preset is Quality Mode.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The second video material showcases The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. All configurations are the same as in the case of 2077, except for the graphic preset. This has been set to Performance Mode. In the video below, we can see a game using a paid upgrade that unlocks the full potential of the title on Switch 2, including graphical improvements.
Of course, we have to it's a hybrid console and there are some compromises, but the first impressions are promising.
