Chainsaw Man will be back, but we won't see it any day soon. Although Reze Arc's film will be released this year, we will have to wait a few more months for its release.
Fans of Chainsaw Man are eagerly awaiting the return of the anime. Production was halted for a long time after season 1, which ended in 2022. And only now, after 3 years, Denji and the rest are returning, however not in another season of the anime, but in a theatrical film in which the story will continue. The filmmakers have decided to present the story in this form.
When is the premiere of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc and where will the film be released?
The fan-favorite and highly anticipated Reze Arc will be released later this year, but we will have to wait a little longer for the premiere, as Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is scheduled for release on September 19, 2025. But this date only applies to theaters in Japan. At this point it is unknown when the anime film will be released in other territories.

The anime characters look a bit different than in season 1, and it's clear that some changes have been made to the artistic direction of the production for the theatrical release.
