By getting from one room to another, we uncover the story of Burning Glass and Power Hammer work and how to use them, however to make the latter, you will require a Battery Pack that can be tricky to find since there is an RNG element involved. There are some reliable places where you can locate it, though. Let’s see what those are and, when you finally get your hands on the pack, how it can be used, besides constructing the Power Hammer.
Where to find a Battery Pack in Blue Prince
Before we jump to amazing tools that can be created thanks to Battery Packs, we have to obtain them first. To do so, we’ll have to do some snooping around, as Blue Prince adds a bit of random factor to the equation, which not all fans are fond of. Nevertheless, we shouldn’t get discouraged by such minor inconvenience, because otherwise the game is universally praised. What is the best place to look for the Batteries then?
The very first room that you should check for the Battery Pack is the Workshop, a place where you can build the tools. If you have already used it and need more, or if you weren’t lucky enough to find it there, no worries as there are other locations that can hold this item:
- You can check for Battery Pack in the car’s trunk in the Garage, though it will require Car Keys that can be found in for example in the Billard Room or Parlor.
- Next, another possible place to look for this item is the Lost and Found Room.
- Another part of the mansion that you can check is the Dark Room, yet it will be necessary to switch the lights on there first.
- The last hope of finding the Battery Pack is exchanging it in Trading Post, yet it will have to be unlocked before it can be used. The way there leads through the West Gate.
What Battery Pack is used for in Blue Prince
After finally getting the desired power source we can make something useful thanks to it. The place where you can use a Battery Pack is the Workshop, a special room to craft items. One of the things, which you can create, is a Power Hammer, which we have covered in detail earlier (we even explain where to use it). There are two more items that can be crafted by using a Battery Pack:
- Jack Hammer – made from Shovel, Battery Pack and Broken Lever. It is another iteration of ordinary shovel, allowing for deeper excavation which results in finding better items.
- Electromagnet – produced by combination of Com and Battery Pack. It’s a nice utility tool that will increase the chances of getting Mechanical Rooms, as well as it will allow you to automatically gather keys and gold upon entering a new room.
Hopefully, now it will be easier for you to locate the Battery Pack and make good use of it.
