Work Resumes on The Set of The Witcher
Work on the 2nd season of Netflix's The Witcher resumed after it was interrupted a few days ago due to coronavirus cases detected among the crew. The new picture shows that the filmmakers are currently focusing their attention on the city setpiece in Arborfield.

Just a previous one in the first half of 2020 and the work was resumed.
The creators of the adaptation are currently in the UK. They take advantage of the charming landscapes of Scotland and the opportunities of the film studio in Arborfield, where work on the construction of a city setpiecebegan in January this year .

By now, the city built by the scenery crew has probably taken on its final shape, as can be seen from the photo published yesterday by redanianintelligence.com:

Redanianintelligence.com emphasizes that the constructions created in the studio in Arborfield will probably not serve as one location only. It seems that they are closest to Oxenfurt, but they will be used for recreating different cities belonging to the universe.
The 2nd season of Netflix's The Witcher was originally intended to air in the summer of 2021, assuming that the last shots on the set will occur in February. Taking into the threat of further delays, it is hard to say if this assumption will hold. However, seeing how the filmmakers don't allow themselves even one day of unnecessary delay, one can hope that the possible delay will not be big.
