Aluna: Sentinel of the Shards

  - Not Just Diablo - 12 Best Hack'n'slash Games - dokument - 2021-02-03

  1. Release date: 2021
  2. Why worth the wait: It's bringing a popular comic book to the world of video games

Fans of The World of Aluna comic book will finally get a chance to see how their favorite universe looks in a video game. Developers from the debut studio Digiart Interactive and N-Fusion Interactive (previously responsible for Ember and Space Noir, among others) have attempted to adapt the comic book story of Aluna a Spanish woman living in the 16th century, who, as a child, received a mysterious shard giving her supernatural powers. As a result of certain events, the heroine will have to embark on a journey and find the remaining fragments before her enemies do.

The gameplay will mainly consist of exploring the land inspired by the 16th-century Latin America, searching for shards and fighting various enemies, among which there will be monsters known from mythology. We will fight them with historical weapons based on the real arsenal from both the New and Old World. The game is expected to last over 25 hours.
