Games of May 2025: Drift in Japan, rip demons in Middle Ages and dodge in co-op
There will be something to play in May - and it's not just about the two most talked-about titles, which will probably grace the disks of most of you. Besides them, there will be several other hits this month.

- The Midnight Walk
- The Precinct
- Doom: The Dark Ages
- JDM: Japanese Drift Master
- Deliver At All Costs
- Blades of Fire
- Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon
- F1 25
- Elden Ring: Nightreign
- Lost Soul Aside
- May release highlights
At first glance, May is primarily about the new Doom and Elden Ring. In reality, however, this month will give us much more games to play! Maybe not that media-focused, but definitely worth attention. That's why no one should complain about the lack of novelty, although there will certainly be some grumblers. I recommend to such people... catching up on the April releases. Now let's move on to what's hot in May
The Midnight Walk
Release date: May 8, 2025
INFO
- Genre: adventure games
- Platforms: PC, PS5
- Price: TBA
Clay, dark adventure
The developers of Lost in Random, which I definitely liked, worked on The Midnight Walk, so it's an auto-recommend for me. This time, however, instead of getting lost in dice throws, we will have to step into the dark world of clay. We will go on a journey during which we will learn five stories about fire and darkness. Assuming we even reach the destination at all!
VR is optional, but welcome
The Midnight Walk is an adventure game without direct combat, although it certainly doesn't lack dangers. We will have to use our own cunning and a creature accompanying us that resembles a clay lamp. Its flame will deter the threat, but it will often prove insufficient, so you will have to improvise. The game also s VR technology!
