Metroid and Castlevania devs invite to a new game

Blades of Fire is an action RPG by MercurySteam studio, the creators of Metroid Dread and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. We're going to become Aran de Lira, the last warrior capable of wielding steel in a world where Queen Nerea has cast a curse turning metal into stone. Together with his companion Adso, a scholar knowledgeable in ancient languages, Aran sets off on a journey through dark castles and labyrinthine palaces to face the queen's army and uncover the secrets of the divine blacksmiths.

Blades of Fire has a cool blacksmithing system that lets you create weapons with tons of different materials, handles, blades, and rune combinations. The fight is tactical and requires precise aiming at opponents' weak points and adjusting the type of attack to their weapons. With over 50 unique types of enemies, including the undead, beasts, and elite guards, each clash is a challenge.
