The Enclave

  1. Which game? From Fallout 2 to Fallout 76
  2. Where can we find them? In various locations

what I wrote about the first meeting with Brotherhood of Steel in the original Fallout? The headquarters of this organization was a stronghold of law and order in an ocean of not as much of chaos, as absolute decay. A place that was bright, clean, and rigid, but safe. The developers decided to play a prank on us in the second game.

Here we also encountered soldiers dressed in powered armor, very similar to those donned by of the Brotherhood of Steel. Only this time, instead of reliable allies, they turned out to be the main threat in the whole game. The Enclave is a remnant of a secret pre-war government structure. And again, in a world where a working car is the pinnacle of technology, we face a faction that flies over the wastelands in armed VTOLs and takes whatever it wants without asking.

Later, in Fallout 3, the Enclave once again plays the role of our main opponent, with whom we eventually have to... all right, no spoilers. By the way, the Enclave also makes itself felt in Fallout 76, but this game is so fresh that I will definitely not reveal anything unnecessary. Instead, I'll return to Fallout 2. Surely many of you associate this group the figure of the giant Frank Horrigan. To this day, however, I have the fondest memories of the nameless Enclave soldier, who was furious with us and hurled insults.

TRIVIA

I've played Fallout 2 many, many times. I completed it three times and many times I just wandered endlessly through the wasteland. While writing this text, I discovered that there is another dialogue conversation with an angry Enclave soldier. We can find him by connecting to the Enclave through the computer next to the nuclear reactor in Gecko. It's amazing that this game can still surprise me after so many year.
