Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! is a beat'em up!
I honestly confess that if Asterix & Obelix: Slap them All! will be successful, I will be surprised. Not that I do not believe in this project – I am simply not convinced that the adventures of the comic-book Gauls still have the same appeal. Especially since the creators will deliver a classic beat'em up without any major innovation.
The Gauls are coming, so hide your kids and hide your wife!
Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! is intended to be an uncomplicated production. We get a handful of story missions based on comics (with one original story), during which the Gauls will beat different people up, rushing forward all the while. Each hero has their own set of skills that can be combined into combos. Some mini-games will provide diversion from swinging fists. The game will be served in a classic, comic-book visual style.
