The fourth expansion pack to the 1999 MMORPG EverQuest. The add-on was developed by Daybreak Game Company which manages the franchise since it was created. EverQuest: The Planes of Power introduces more than twenty new locations, among which there are two cities. However, access to various areas depends on level of the character controlled by the player.

EverQuest: The Planes of Power is the fourth expansion for EverQuest. It enriches the game world with over 20 new zones: the so-called Planes of Power that are home to the gods of Norrath. Among those we can find the fiery Plane of Flame, decaying Plane of Disease, prison Plane of Justice, terrifying Plane of Nightmares, Plane of Knowledge inhabited by sages, the war-torn Plane of War, Plane of Tranquility which is a gateway between dimensions, and many others. Access to each plane is level-restricted.

The add-on also introduces hundreds of new items, over 50 new monsters, two big cities, and new quests ed together by consistent storyline. The skills and raid system were also subject to improvements. Now, even 60 players can perform different tasks together and share experience points they gain.
