Frostpunk: 1886 brings new events, mechanics, laws, technologies, and buildings. In addition, a third goal path was added, which s the already existing ones - Faith and Order.

Plot and gameplay in Frostpunk

Frostpunk: 1886 was built on the pillars established by the original. The game takes us to the ice-bound world of 1886, to the city of New London, built around a powerful coal reactor, providing the inhabitants with life-giving warmth. During the game, we take on the role of the manager of this metropolis, and our main goal is to ensure its survival, and subsequently - its development.

We gather resources, expand the city (based on a circular plan), develop technology, and also make various decisions. The choices we make are rarely black and white. We often have to be guided not so much by the good of the people directly affected by them, but by the interest of the general public (and our own). Over time, our world begins to "grow", as we gain the ability to organize expeditions to increasingly remote corners of the icy land.
