It’s been a year since Microsoft completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard. A lot has changed during that time; the acquisition faced its share of challenges, but ultimately it was finalized. Many players had their doubts about this unprecedented move, while others were excited to see their favorite games added to the Game service. Now, a year later, we can take a look at the games that hit the service, as well as those that are expected to appear there. First, however, let's start with a brief history lesson.

Acquistion of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft
the deal was finally completed on October 13, 2023. With this acquisition, Microsoft became the third-largest gaming company in the world, trailing only behind Tencent and Sony. This was also the most expensive video game-related acquisition in history, with a final cost of $75.4 billion.
Under the of the agreement, Microsoft gained ownership of several major franchises, including Overwatch, and Candy Crush. As we all know, some of these games have already made their way to Game , while others are still pending, with no official word from Microsoft.
