Cyberpunk 2077 is now available. Unfortunately, the players complain about a large number of bugs that can interfere with the gameplay. The company is working on updates to address the reported issues, but the list of bugs requiring attention is getting longer and longer. The latest issue is related to save game files in the PC version.
Some players tend to collect everything they find on their way through the dark streets of Night City. It turns out that this can significantly affect the size of the save game file. s of r/cyberpunkgame subreddit and the forum on CD Projekt RED's website have noticed that the size of the save file is growing quite fast. However, for reasons mentioned later on, the file must not exceed 8 MB.
This is not good news. If we spend too much time in the game using a single save file, abuse the crafting system (using bugs that enable e.g. duplication of items), our files may get damaged and prevent us from continuing the game. Unfortunately, the limit of 8 MB means the end of the game on a given save.
Currently there is no solution to the problem. The forum's s suggest avoiding the abuse of game systems, backing up files, and reporting the bug on the official website of Cyberpunk 2077.
The players did not react very positively to the proposed solution. Both Reddit and the official forums full of voices calling for refunds. However, Cyberpunk 2077 has crowds of fans who, despite the game's problems, declare that the title gives them a lot of fun.
