Sony has announced that it signed an agreement with the publisher of the Call of Duty series for temporary exclusivity with regard to post-launch add-ons to Call of Duty: Black Ops III and the future installments of the war-themed FPS. As they used to do with Xbox, the new CoD DLCs will first appear on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. PS4 s will also be the only ones to check out the beta version of the production in August.
During its conference at E3 2015 Sony presented a gameplay video of 4-person co-op, as well as first multiplayer gameplay from Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The game is set for release on November 6, 2015 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
