Latest AMD Drivers Fix Some of the Recently Reported Problems
The new version of Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition (20.2.2) drivers fixes some of the problems recently faced by AMD GPU s. Unfortunately, freezing can still occur in some cases.

In mid-February, we wrote about the problems experienced by s of Radeon RX 5000 series GPU. The most frequently raised issue at that time was repeating freezing - the appearance of a black screen, which forced the s to restart their PCs. According to experts from the Hardware Unboxed channel, as much as half of the s were affected. AMD finally released a new version of Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition (20.2.2) drivers, which fix some of these bugs. It turns out, however, that despite the update, the freezing still occurs (via PCGamer).
AMD claims that it is aware of the persisting problems and will monitor incoming reports to resolve the remaining inconveniences as soon as possible. The developers also informed that some of them can be solved by disabling Enhanced Sync technology in the 's profile (at least until the bugs are officially resolved).
"Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Enhanced Sync has been temporarily disabled from the gaming profile and any s who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround."
