New Feature Trailer For Arc Line's Steampunk RPG Reveals it Leaning Towards Baldur's Gate 3, Fallout, and Frostpunk
The RPG New Arc Line received a new story trailer. The steampunk atmosphere of the title from Dreamate studio brings to mind Fallout and Frostpunk, while the gameplay resembles Baldur's Gate 3.

Last year, the Czech-Ukrainian studio Dreamate announced the isometric RPG Baldur's Gate 3 fans. However, its dark plot also attracts attention - the atmosphere of New Arc Line was reflected in the new trailer.
The material presents one of the side missions in the game, focusing on the tragic fate of a mother and daughter, whose story is only part of a larger conspiracy. The video includes numerous characteristic elements of the steampunk genre, such as a massive factory, machinery, and weapons, reminiscent of the atmosphere in the Frostpunk.
It's worth noting that the trailer mentions a war being waged in the New World. The conflict between magicians with supernatural abilities and people creating clever technological machines and firearms is the central theme of New Arc Line.
The player, as one of the immigrants who arrived at this place, must take a stand on one of the conflicting sides. The game developers suggest that the conflict cannot be resolved, as magic and technology negatively affect each other. Nevertheless, the protagonist's decisions will impact the New World and the relationships he establishes, including romantic ones. Even the race chosen at the beginning of the game will affect society's reactions to our character.
As I mentioned earlier, New Arc Line is most similar to the award-winning Baldur’s Gate 3 in of its mechanics and extensive capabilities. In the game from Dreamate studio, we will choose our class and subclass, as well as recruit team and command them during turn-based battles.
Unfortunately, we still don't know the exact release date of New Arc Line. The game is set to be released in 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
