New soulslike to kick off Summer Game Fest. Mortal Shell sequel promises to be exceptionally bloodthirsty
Cold Symmetry has announced a sequel to the soulslike Mortal Shell. The second installment will launch in 2026.

The Summer Game Fest 2025 show kicked off with the sharp sound of Behemoth, which accompanied the announcement of Mortal Shell 2. You can watch the brutal and dark trailer below.
This is a continuation of the soulslike genre game released in 2020. The second installment, according to the description on Steam, is supposed to be much more expanded. It will offer faster, unforgiving combat, more detailed weapon designs, and extensive options for their upgrades. It also emphasizes the freedom to explore the open world.
The game is heading for PC, PS5, and XSX/S. The launch has been set for 2026.
