Nintendo's New Console Will Rival PS4 in Power, Activision Chief Reveals
Activision Blizzard chief Bobby Kotick revealed hot information about an console from Nintendo during the hearing with Microsoft.
Another day of Activision Blizzard. Today's interviewee was the head of the latter, Bobby Kotick, who revealed extremely interesting information about a device from Nintendo.
His company was already said to be in talks with representatives of the "big N" about their future console. In doing so, he suggested that the device will have power similar to previous generation devices, i.e. PS4 and XOne.
At the same time, Kotick testified that the Call of Duty series would be released on the Japanese company's new platform (via The Verge).
"We will probably do Call of Duty for Nintendo's new console. I can't reveal specific plans, but it's certainly something we're considering."
It is worth noting that the Japanese company was in the limelight after Microsoft entered a partnership with it, under which, after the successful acquisition of Activision Blizzard, future installments of come out on its platforms.
Bobby Kotick has indicated that he has not spoken to Microsoft about the presence of Call of Duty on Nintendo's consoles after the merger was approved, and that he was supposed to have learned about the whole matter from the media. Moreover, Activision chief regrets not releasing any installment of CoD on Switch.
