Tomorrow, on September 15 the PlayStation 5 s will be able to the second major firmware update. The update will bring new major features to the console, including 3D audio for built-in speakers on TVs and the highly anticipated for M.2 SSDs, while the PS Remote Play mobile app will enable s to stream games not only over Wi-Fi but also using mobile data connections. On Thursday, September 23, there will be an update to the PlayStation App that will enable PlayStation 5 s to share their screens to mobile devices. The PlayStation 4 hasn't been forgotten and the update will introduce, among other things, the ability to view trophies from the PS5 from the player profile on the older console.

Changes related to PS5

• Customizable control center. Ability to arrange and hide menu items;
• Game Base with access to messages and chat directly from the control center. In full-screen mode, players will be able to see their friends' status and manage invitations;
• The game library and home screen will distinguish between installed PS4 and PS5 versions of the same title;
• The screen reading function will be enhanced with the ability to pause, resume and repeat read ages.

The September update will enable 3D Audio for surround sound on built-in two-channel TV speakers. The microphone built into the DualSense controller will be used to measure room acoustics. Owners of the Pulse 3D headset will have access to the equalizer from the control center.

M.2 SSD

The update will introduce for high-speed M.2 SSDs to which s will be able to , copy and run games from PS5 and PS4. Sony notes that the media must meet certain criteria and have adequate cooling.
