F2P Shooter Project Reality Version 1.7 Launches; Adds New Map
Built on the foundations of a Battlefield 2 mod, the free-to-play game Project Reality has now received version 1.7. It brings, among other things, a new map and realistic projectile ballistics for combat vehicle weapons.

2022 started with a bang for fans of tactical shooters. A new version of Project Reality has just been released. It is marked with the number 1.7 and brings many novelties.
As you may known, the game began its life as a mod for Battlefield 2, but several years go it has become a fully independent F2P game, which does not require us to own BF2.
Version 1.7 brings something that fans have been waiting for for a long time, namely realistic ballistics for projectiles fired by combat vehicles, thanks to which they drop in flight. At the same time, all machines received a system allowing them to take a correction for this before firing.
1.7 also introduces a new map to the game - Fields of Kassel. This is a World War II battlefield with an area of 16 square kilometers and enables us to use aircraft and anti-aircraft defenses. The game has also been enriched with ZBL-08, an eight-wheeled amphibious vehicle.
The subsequent development of Project Reality is impressive. The project is already seventeen years old, and yet we can still expect new elements and improvements. This is all the more irable that many of its creators are currently engaged in the commercial shooter Squad, based on similar ideas, so further work on PR is a pleasant surprise.
