Along with the release of Risen 3: Titan Lords - Enhanced Edition on PlayStation 4, comes a new graphical update to PC version. Starting today all s of 64-bit operating systems can enjoy even more beautiful Risen 3. As stated in the official note on Steam, the visual enhancements include: improved texture resolution, farther draw distance and viewing ranges, new post-process effects (e.g. bokoh depth of field and HDR bloom), as well as physically based cloud rendering resulting in better skies and sunsets.
This upgrade does not impact save games, unlocked Steam achievements, and owned DLCs. For those who have a 32-bit OS this new update brings nothing new, however, should they ever switch to a 64-bit version, their Risen 3 will upgrade automatically.
Right now Risen 3 is 80% off on Steam as a part of Midweek Madness deal, which is still on for several more hours. You can buy it there for only 5,99 euro.
