Rockstar Silences GTA Co-creators Citing Copyright Infringement
According to former developer from DMA Design (Rockstar North), Rockstar Games has started silencing former employees who know too much about the GTA series.

DMA Design (now Rockstar North) - shared a controversial information on Twitter. In it, he suggests that GTA devs are trying to shut the mouths of people who once had something to do with the development of the series and would like to share their knowledge with the public. Here are its contents:
The former developer does not hide his emotions, which is not surprising. The prototype in question represented one of the original versions of GTA, which was created in the mid-1990s. - some time before the release of the original Grand Theft Auto (GTA) in 1997. The developer thus had a major contribution to shaping the direction of the series. Hours after the first shocking news, the developer shared a second tweet:
Rockstar is known for keeping its work a secret - we rarely get a glimpse of any documents unless it's the studio's will. However, several of the original developers who worked at DMA before the release of the first installment have shared a number of behind-the-scenes developer videos in recent years. Dailly suggests that Rockstar is now attacking all such developers, although his tweet is the first public mention of such things taking place.

The controversy may be sparked by the developer's words, that Rockstar would remove videos that violated studio's copyright. This raises the question of the harsh policies of Take-Two Interactive - Rockstar's owner. The company has recently become famous for a number of less-than-stellar decisions regarding the poorly received Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. These include Grand Theft Auto Online. We look forward to further developments.
