As announced yesterday, CD Projekt RED was featured in the The Witcher 4. This unique tech demo shows the capabilities of the engine utilized by the newest installment of this best-selling series.

As you probably know, this technology is Unreal Engine 5 (its latest version 5.6 was presented at the event), which the Polish company is developing in cooperation with Epic Games. The goal is to eliminate the biggest problems of this technology, starting with stuttering.

The Witcher 4, released the decision to make Ciri the main character appeared in as early as 2014, testifies to how well thought out this project is.

Moreover, The Witcher 4, like Cyberpunk 2, is set to showcase the true scale of CD Projekt RED's ambition. The Polish studio also aims to become a global developer of pop culture and entertainment, and both of these games are a proof of this incredibly ambitious undertaking.
