What links Baldur's Gate 3, Elden Ring and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33? Best games of the last decade have an interesting thing in common
Baldur's Gate 3, Elden Ring, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 are true powerhouses of the RPG genre. Interestingly, they all have one element in common.

Released at the end of April, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 turned out to be a real phenomenon. One of the best proofs of that is the fact that the game got a 10/10 score from Edge magazine. This is something rare, because over the last five years, this outlet has given such a rating to only six entries. These are:
- Astro Bot
- Baldur's Gate 3
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
- Elden Ring
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- Immortality
Aliona Baranova, one of the directors of Baldur’s Gate 3 and also an actress in the game (she voiced Corinna and Xeph), noticed something interesting - Jennifer English appeared in three out of these six games. The actress portrayed Latenna in Elden Ring, Maelle in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and Shadowheart in BG3.
As Baranova commented, everything that Jennifer English appears in turns out to be gold. On X, where this conversation took place, many players share the sentiment that English will at least get a nomination for best performance at major gaming award shows, including The Game Awards, for their role in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
We'll also soon hear Jennifer English in the highly anticipated Tides of Annihilation (a third-person action slasher game inspired by Arthurian legends), where she'll play the lead role as the voice of Gwendolyn.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was released on April 24th on PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5. The game is also available as part of the Game subscription, both on PC and XSX.
