Windows 10 Will Collect Data to Tailor the System to
Windows 10 may get a new settings tab where we can specify how we use our computer most often. This will allow the system to offer us additional tips and recommend content.

IN A NUTSHELL:
- Microsoft is testing a new tab in Windows 10 settings;
- It will enable us to determine how we use our computer most often so that the system can recommend us useful features and new content.
Windows Latest reports that Microsoft is testing a new feature in Windows 10, the Device Usage tab, where we can specify what we use our computer for most often. If we do, the OS can use that information to offer us a "more personalized" experience.

The tab includes six categories that we can select by moving a slider. They are: gaming, family, creativity, school, entertainment and business. Each of them has a short description (for example, the "family" group covers issues related to ing loved ones, profiles for different s and security settings, while "entertainment" includes watching movies and surfing the web and social media).
When we specify the ways in which we use our computer, the system starts to show us tips and recommend content - for example, it can suggest games we haven't played yet or help us discover new movies. It is worth noting that we can select more than one option, so we do not have to be particularly limited.
The new tab is currently in the testing phase and it is difficult to say when (and if at all) it will eventually make its way to the normal version of Windows 10.
