What exactly is Atomicrops?

It's the debut of Bath Games studio, a game that combines a farm simulator with elements of roguelike shooters like Helldivers and Nuclear Throne. We play as one of the survivors of a nuclear holocaust; we're developing our genetically modified crops and try to save them (and ourselves) from attacks of mutated insects.

What's gameplay like Atomicrops?

Atomicrops is based on two main pillars. The first is combat with the insects attacking our farm, conceived in the style of twin-stick shooters. Defeated opponents can be converted into fertilizer, which is useful in the second big aspect of the game – developing the farm. By planting and growing unusual plants, we acquire valuable food and materials to trade with other survivors. We can also embark on dangerous expeditions into the wilderness, which may yield new types of seeds or tools that make it easier to work.
