Avowed – Pillars of Eternity in FPP mode

- Announced in: 2021
- Genre: RPG
- Developer: Obsidian Entertainment
Avowed, like Fable, was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase in 2020. We learned then that the production is being handled by Obsidian Entertainment, the creators of the famous Pillars, and the game will once again take us to the world called Eora, this time viewed from first-person perspective. Since that time, the game went under the radar. There were no official presentations, except for a few leaks that promise a truly epic experience.
Why are we waiting?
For many, the fact that this will be another journey to the world of Pillars of Eternity – one of the best RPGs of the last decade, is enough. The second reason is the fun of playing in a more immersive FPP mode, which brings about memories of Skyrim. By the way, according to unofficial information, the world in Avowed is supposed to be bigger and much more diverse than the one in Bethesda's classic. During exploration, we encounter large cities and small settlements; the dynamically changing weather is supposed to be realistic creating, for example, dense fogs near rivers. There will be no shortage of travel companions making up our team, factions, and great bosses to defeat. Even if the premiere is still far away, it would be nice to see at least a piece of actual gameplay.
