Path of Exile Video Game Series (PoE)

In November 2019, Grinding Gear Games officially announced Path of Exile Mobile, which is a special version of the first Path of Exile, prepared with smartphones and tablets in mind.

The plot in the Path of Exile series games

Path of Exile takes us to a dark fantasy universe. In the first part of the series, we play as an exile from the land of Oriath, who finds himself on the continent of Wraeclast, full of dangers, which is a kind of giant prison. Wanting to take revenge on the person who brought him this fate, the convict must face countless dangers and find a way to escape.

For the game Path of Exile 2 however, a separate campaign was prepared, the action of which was set twenty years after the events of the first installment of the series.

Gameplay in Path of Exile series games

In productions under the banner of Path of Exile we watch the action in isometric view. During the game we impersonate characters representing specific classes, while nothing stands in the way of creating various hybrids.. As we progress, we develop them, improving their attributes, acquiring special stones associated with certain active and ive skills, and collecting increasingly better equipment. It is worth noting that although the second installment of the series is based on the pillars erected by the "one", while working on it, the authors leaned into individual systems and made numerous changes based on fan suggestions.

Games in the series Path of Exile were built around an online multiplayer mode. Nevertheless, those willing can play them as if they were classic single-player productions. In addition, so-called leagues, i.e. special servers adapted to a specific style of gameplay, allow to customize the game to individual preferences.

The game itself takes place in a variety of locations, while its driving force are missions pushing the plot forward and side quests.. Along the way we eliminate hosts of opponents, with whom we fight dynamic skirmishes. After completing the main adventure, you can play within the so-called endgame, where we face maps full of extremely difficult challenges.

Economy in Path of Exile games

Economy in productions under the banner of Path of Exile are based on so-called spheres, which we "earn" by killing enemies and exchanging our items for them. Although microtransactions have also been implemented in the titles of the series, for real money we can only purchase cosmetic add-ons, such as character animations, dyes or visual effects.
