Phil Spencer Agrees: Microsoft Lacks Games
Phil Spencer itted that he realizes the lack of big Xbox launches in 2022. At the same time, he announced that next year will be much better.

A few days ago Phil Spencer assured that as long as there is PlayStation, Call of Duty will be coming out for the console. In the same interview, given to Same Brain's YouTube channel, other interesting statements were made, including hyped game announcement for 2023 and thoughts on the lack of launches during the holiday season.
The head of the Xbox brand itted in the interview that he is aware of the small number of big titles released on Microsoft's consoles in 2022.. He said that this was heavily influenced by the coronavirus pandemic, which slowed down work on titles. He also pointed out that the release period around the Christmas is exceptionally poor this time. Considering that the only really big release is God of War: Ragnarok, it's hard not to it he's right.
"One thing we've heard loud and clear [from the gamers - ed. note] is that we haven't released a major first-party title in a long time. We can hide behind COVID and other issues. But we realize that people are investing in our platform and want great games on it. So we are looking forward to 2023."
It was also said that Microsoft is focusing on expanding its offerings on platforms other than just consoles as well. All the time, work is underway to develop the cloud and expand its offerings, as well as to improve the Xbox app on PC.
At the same time, Spencer announced many good things for the 2023 year, in which a number of titles are expected to be released. He indicated that this period will see the debut of, among others, two Bethesda items - STALKER 2 (although the release of the latter in 2023 is in question).
