Techland Still Working on Open-world Fantasy RPG
Techland is working on another project. We're talking about a fantasy RPG developed by the Warsaw branch of the studio.

- Techland is still working on a fantasy RPG;
- The project is supposed to be a completely new open-world IP;
- We do not know at what stage of work the game is.
In an interview with Polish website Puls Biznesu [in Polish] Techland's board member Karol Bach revealed a bit about the studio's future plans.
It seems that the company is still working on a fantasy RPG. We are probably talking about a distant heir of a game abandoned years ago - Hellraid.
Techland is still at work
Karol Bach didn't say too much about the mysterious project. In fact, he only repeated the information, which was revealed a few years ago.
The game is to be an RPG set in an original fantasy universe. The game will have an open world and the Warsaw branch of the studio is to be responsible for its creation.
This title is to be an important project for Techland. According to Bach, fantasy simply has more marketing potential than the horror genre explored by the company so far.
Unfortunately, it's hard to say on what stage of work the game is. According to anonymous employees [in Polish] of the studio, the title began to be developed about half a year after the abandonment of Hellraid, that is, since mid-2015.
However, the work was supposed to progress very slowly. According to some of the quoted developers, the mysterious RPG is unlikely to see the light of day before 2025.
We can only wait for more information, which may reveal something more about the project. For now, all we know is that the game is still in development.
