„You're more than just players.” inZOI devs bet on communication and quell hopes of Nintendo fans
The developers of inZOI aren't sure about the game's release on Nintendo Switch 2, but they are already preparing new content and better communication with fans.

The developers of inZOI want to communicate better with the players. By the way, they revealed that the potential debut on the Nintendo Switch 2 console is causing them problems.
It's been a month since the release of the new life sim, which turned out to be a big success for Krafton. Of course, there were some issues, bizarre, some of which were fixed by subsequent updates.
In a post summarizing the first month of inZOI, the devs announced the publication of a monthly list of "known issues" and a series of presentations discussing new content, which is scheduled to launch in May and August ("inZOI @"). The latter will also include a series of live Q&A sessions.
Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim also took the opportunity to recap the game's progress from the inZOI Team's perspective and thank the players for ing their project.
inZOI has been a completely new challenge for both me and the team. We've stepped into a genre that was unfamiliar to us and experimented with new approaches, getting this far through trial, error and collaboration. It's been a true learning experience, albeit one that's left plenty of room for improvement. To us, you're more than just players—you're partners who share our vision, walking this path together with us as one team. Your and ion keep us going and give us a reason to push forward.
Of course, we're aware that the road ahead isn't an easy one. Nonetheless, we're committed to working on finishing the game, one step at a time.

Of course, that joy comes with its share of pain. As joyful as it is when the world embraces your creation, it hurts just as much when it doesn't. But perhaps that pain is simply just another part of being a creator. I'd even call it a pain worth having.
Regardless, we've only made it this far thanks to you. Thank you once again for ing inZOI.
Some internet s speculate that the announcement of improved communication is the result of a decrease in the number of players on Steam. In the last week, the daily peak was around 4-5 thousand people. That's a decent result, but also a noticeable drop compared to the popularity of inZOI on day one (via SteamDB).
Nonetheless, it should be ed that we are talking about early access to a single-player production. Baldur’s Gate 3 also quickly "lost" players after its "release" on Steam Early Access (of course, keeping things in proportion).
Is Switch 2 lacking power for inZOI?
Right now, inZOI can only be played on PC as part of Steam's Early Access. Nonetheless, the devs have long confirmed plans to release the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. However, after the announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2 in April, there were questions about the possibility of its launch on this platform as well.
Unfortunately, as VideoGamer discovered (via Dual Shockers), the release of inZOI on Switch 2 would require highly advanced optimization. As the developer explained, the graphics of the Nintendo console seem to be a bit weaker for now than those provided in the minimum requirements of Krafton's title.
At least that's what the unofficial information on the internet suggests. Perhaps the NS2 GPU system will be more powerful, which would facilitate work on a potential port of inZOI. There is also a chance that the game itself will be better optimized in the future. The team definitely wants to reach more players on different platforms, and the successor to the most popular console of recent years is already generating a lot of interest, despite some criticism of Nintendo's decisions.
Everything comes down to how powerful the second Switch will be and what progress the developers of inZOI will make in of performance before the game is released outside of Steam.
- Baby kidnapping in inZOI sparks a problem that is probably waiting to be patched up
- Realistic life sim was eating its own tail, devs had to intervene. No more long sleep and funny difficulties with childbirth inZOI
- inZOI characters no longer look like they came from a nightmare. That's thanks to realistic shadows and lighting, which players have been asking for
