What does playing dice involve?

During a dice game, players take turns rolling six dice, accumulating points from the combinations they got. The person who first collects the appropriate number of points, which you can see in the lower left corner of the screen, wins.

After making the first throw, take a look at the dice you got. You can set aside any number of dice that together create a combination. We receive temporary points from a randomly selected combination. At this moment, you can decide what you want to do next:

1. You can , giving the turn to the opponent. All the points you scored in this round are permanently added to your and are summed up with the result from previous rounds.
2. You can also reroll the remaining dice on the table, hoping that you will get scoring combinations again. However, this option involves some risk.

If during any of the rerolls you do not get any scoring combination, the game counts as a so-called miss. Then you lose all the points you got in the round, and the dice are ed to the opponent.

So as you can see, a very important element of playing dice is a good estimation of when it's worth to . If you manage to accumulate a large number of points, it is usually better to the turn to the opponent, rather than risk losing everything during a reroll with a low chance of success. If by fate we manage to remove all the dice from the table, even in a few rerolls, we get the option to repeat the round with a full set of dice in the same round.

Scoring combinations

To avoid a miss, during the roll you must get at least one of these dice combinations:

1. Each additional dice, with the same symbol as the connected three, doubles the result. This means that three discarded "twos" will give you 200 points, but four "twos" will give you 400 points, five "twos" will give 800 points and so on.

Special dice

During your travels through Bohemia, you will surely come across various types of dice with special properties. By reading at their description in the inventory, you can see what they offer. Before each game, you can choose a set of dice from your equipment.

For example - The dice of Saint Antioch will always roll a three. By carefully selecting a set of dice for the game and ing their properties, you can adjust the set to your strategy and tip the scales of victory in your favor.

The simplest way to obtain useful dice is to buy them from traders. Many of them have various sets in stock.

What is a token game?

By challenging a dice player to a duel, you can decide to play a so-called token game. These are special modifiers that affect the dice game in a certain way.

Tokens are divided into three types:

1. Tin;
2. Silver;
3. Gold.

They differ in the strength of the modifier they add to the game. When challenging someone to a game with a token, you can only use the same level as your opponent. Similar to special dice, you will acquire tokens during exploration or by purchasing them from merchants.
