DualSense Edge to be the Answer to Xbox Elite
The rumors have been confirmed. Sony is indeed preparing an answer to the Xbox Elite controller. It will be the DualSense Edge gamepad for the PS5.

In June 2022, Tom Henderson revealed that Sony was working on a new gamepad for the PS5. It was reportedly code-named Hunt (and colloquial: PS5 Pro controller) and would feature removable analog sticks, additional buttons on the back of the gamepad, as well as trigger stops.
Today, during gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live, Henderson's reports were confirmed. Geoff Keighley presented the DualSense Edge controller. It is supposed to be not only Sony's answer to Microsoft's Xbox Elite Series 2 gamepad, but also the first controller for professionals in the range of that Japanese company.
