New bugs in Oblivion Remastered are even better than in the original version
Still broken after all these years. Oblivion Remastered has a new look, but the same glorious chaos.

It's been almost a week since finish the game in 15 minutes – it’s all remains gloriously broken! And now, there are even more bugs, just as charming as the old ones.
Bugs are back and they brought friends
carry weight without needing console commands, optimize the game, and improve performance. But when it comes to the new bugs? We're on our own (for now). Even if some of them are hilarious, a few are bound to get pretty annoying over time.

According to the unofficial ES wiki, players have already spotted a ton of new bugs in Oblivion Remastered:
- Occasionally you can be stuck in a state where items will be dropped when trying to equip them. This can be resolved by closing and relaunching the game – feels like something I was already dealing with 20 years ago.
- Casting Light spells does not work in first-person view. You must go into third-person view for the light effect to appear – classic Bethesda.
- As storage containers now have opening and closing animations with physics, items placed on top of desks may sometimes fly off when the desk is activated.
- Goblin corpses no longer react when hit in the head with a weapon – Yes, someone actually reported this as a bug and I don’t blame them.
- Tripwire traps can no longer be triggered by striking them with an arrow, but will interact with arrow physics after being triggered – I had to read this a couple of times, and I still don’t get it.
- In certain situations, dart traps can damage you regardless of their distance from the trap. You will continue to take damage until you die – pretty sure that’s an old one.
- Stealth marksman attacks sometimes deal only x1 damage, even when you have the Sneak skill perks to increase this.
- If you go to sleep and level up while the subject of a Chameleon effect, the Chameleon visual effect may become stuck.
- Greywyn's Armoire is not a safe storage and resets every couple of seconds – Better watch out for this one.
- Instantly dying when picking up a Sigil stone from an Oblivion gate.
- Corpses raised using the Great Power “Risen Flesh” are stuck in a ragdoll state and can't move – that’s a feature, not a bug.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. These bugs could be fixed in the future, but let’s be real, they probably won’t. And in sadder news, they actually patched the item duplication glitch for no good reason.
