Removable SSD Like Cartridges? PS5 May Have Some Interesting Patents
Sony has ed a new patent in Brazil called „PlayStation Cartridge”. It is highly likely that the new PlayStation 5 will have replaceable SSD.

You're probably wondering what this device is really for. Dutch journalists from LetsGoDigital development kit was also ed with the same patent office some time ago.
The designer of the product is Yujin Morisawa, who has been working with Sony for over 15 years and currently is the company's Senior Artistic Director. He is responsible for all PlayStation-related products, which makes it even more likely that the console may use interchangeable cartridges.

Sony has already used cartridges in its devices. We how Sony used them for PS Vita games, but their production ended in the first quarter of 2019. So maybe the presented patent will not be used in the fast-approaching PS5 and is a prelude to the creation of a new handheld - PS Vita 2.
