Assassins Creed Shadows: How to turn off inventory notification?
The inventory alert from Assassins Creed Shadows may erroneously inform you that you have acquired a new loot possible to wear. This guide page explains if you can remove the exclamation mark above the Inventory tab.
Inventory exclamation mark in AC Shadow may convey wrong information about acquiring new equipment. On this part of the guide, you will learn how to recognize the bugged inventory message, as well as whether you can disable the inventory alert and get rid of the unwanted exclamation mark.
How to get rid of the inventory alert?
The problem with inventory alert is unfortunately common and can easily also appear in your game. You can recognize it by an exclamation mark appearing over the Inventory tab, which incorrectly informs about new equipment. The picture shows an example - the inventory alert is active despite not having any new weapons or armor.
The described situation unfortunately does not have a proven solution, but you can try a few things:
- Make sure there are no exclamation marks next to the icons of consumables or quest items. They can appear after picking up new items related to quests or, for example, unlocking new types of ammunition for teppo.
- Switch to the second playable character to make sure that Yasuke and Naoe haven't found any new weapons or armor to check.
Unfortunately, the update 1.0.2 from April 8, 2025 did not solve the problem. We can only hope that Ubisoft will solve the problem in one of the patches.
