Expedition 33: How to beat Ultimate Sakapatate?

Where is the Ultimate Sakapatate?

Ultimate Sakapatate awaits you at the end of the Ancient Sanctuary region, after reaching the Giant Bell Alley flag. The boss is mandatory - you need to defeat to make progress in the game.

Ultimate Sakapatate's attacks

1. Dead partner - Sakapatate approaches you and does three attacks with the club made of a corpse. The first two attacks are preceded by a swing, which need to be parried by intuition. The last attack requires you to jump over it - jump when the jump symbol on the mace almost disappears.
2. Striking the ground - area attack. Sakapatate lifts the club, swings it and performs a powerful overhead strike. A hit inflicts Mark on the entire team. Dodge or parry - you have to act on intuition.
3. Shield strike - Sakapatate spins, swings the shield and strikes. Parry on intuition - before striking, the boss leans back standing on one leg.
4. Cannons - area attack. The enemy fires three times from the cannons on his shield at the entire party. A hit inflicts burning on the entire party. Parry or dodge - to parry this attack, you need to parry a fraction of a second after the shot, not at the moment of the shot.
5. Catapult - the boss uses this attack after losing the shield. He shoots an electric projectile from the catapult three times. The projectile is flying in an arc and is visible, so you can parry it just before it hits you.

How to defeat the Ultimate Sakapatate?

The fight with Ultimate Sakapatate can prove to be quite challenging. Try to set him on fire as soon as possible, because he is vulnerable to fire, the burning will cause significant damage every turn. The boss's most dangerous attacks come from his shield, so you want to get rid of it as quickly as possible. You can do this by breaking the boss - use counters and single attacks to charge the break bar.

When you break and stun the boss, he will drop his shield, revealing a weak point on his left arm. Shoot him three times, and he will explode, dealing considerable damage and destroying the shield. The boss will lose all shield-related attacks and instead gain a catapult - finish him off as quickly as possible.

Rewards for defeating the Ultimate Sakapatate

For defeating Ultimate Sakapatate you will receive:

1. 6,750 XP,
2. 1,929 Chroma,
3. Picto - Breaker - damage from breaking increased by 25%,
4. Polished Chroma Catalyst x3,
5. Recoat x1.
