Expedition 33: Tips and Tricks
- Do not save action points for the next fight - Clair Obscur does not have a mana system. Every hero has action points that reset after the battle. This means that you can freely use your most powerful skills and you don't have to save mana for bosses - the only limited resource in battle are items.
- Dodge first, then parry - before you master the pattern and rhythm of attacking opponents, try to perform dodges rather than parries. The window for dodging is much longer than for parrying. Once you have mastered the attack animations to perfection, move on to parrying and counterattacks.
- Weapons scale to the stats - pay attention to which attributes the weapon currently held by your hero is scaling with. To maximize efficiency in combat, choose weapons that perfectly complement the best statistics of the party .
- Setting enemies on fire has a lot of synergy in the early stage of the game - fire works great in the early stage of the game. It's worth investing in it while taking the first steps on the continent destroyed by the Painter.
- If the location is surrounded by a red light, come back later - If you see a red glow and a Danger sign at the entrance to a new location, don't go any further. A dangerous opponent waiting is most likely waiting there, who greatly sures your party in strength. this place and come back to it later.
You'll find more advice on a separate page of our guide called Tips and tricks.
