Ekspedycja 33: How to defeat the green Petank in Monolith?

Petank are rare opponents in Clair Obscur Expedition 33, which you have to defeat in a certain number of turns before they flee from the battlefield. In the last location of the act two, the Monolith, you will encounter an almost untouchable, green Petank, which can only be defeated in one specific way. Where is the green Petank?

You will find the green Petank inside the Monolith, the last dungeon of the second act. It is divided into several areas, each inspired by the previous location you had the opportunity to through. You will find the green Petank in a location modeled on the Stone Wave Cliffs, which is roughly halfway through the Monolith. Just like other Petank, you have to get him into a nearby runic circle before the fight.

How to defeat the green Petank?

Green Petank is almost untouchable - it takes drastically reduced damage from all attacks. It also has identical attacks to normal Petanks and will flee after three turns. The key to defeating him is to use ranged attacks, which every playable character has access to. Instead of attacking Petank, aim for his core and shoot to start the real fight.

Shots to the green core deal high damage to Petank. After the first shot, his core will disappear and he will start teleporting, appearing for a few seconds in a random place in the arena and disappearing. Aim for the core and fire single shots at it. Don't even try to fight the enemy normally. When you run out of action points, use an item to regenerate them for the current character or the next member of your party. After a sufficient number of shots, Petank will fall.

What are the rewards for defeating the green Petank?

For defeating the green Petank, you will receive:

2. 17,040 Chroma;
3. Resplendent Chroma Catalyst x5;
4. Recoat x1,
5. Colour of Lumina x5.
