Can I saves from the original Oblivion?
- Oblivion is that kind of game where you can sink in for hundreds of hours, so you may be interested in the chance to play using your original saves.
- Unfortunately, Oblivion Remaster does not allow you to transfer saves from the original game, even those created without any additional mods. This is primarily due to the game being ported to Unreal Engine 5. As a result, many of the game elements were created from scratch. You have to play a new character, but since the main gameplay mechanics remained the same, you can rely on the knowledge and builds you had in the original Oblivion.

This is a very convenient solution that can allow you, for example, to start playing on PC and then continue with the same character on Xbox.
- Cross-save does not other platforms. This includes the PC version released on Steam (without the Xbox Game service) as well as the PlayStation 5 release. Here, game saves are limited to these platforms only and cannot be transferred between one another.
